Wow , the best thing i have ever done in life is having kids. Wow after a long day, heading back home  to see those two little innocent lives waiting for me to come home. As I enter home, my daughters run to the main door to welcome me. Their hands will be up ,waiting for me to lift them. After a garland of kisses to both of them, I keep them down. I will be followed everywhere, its some times annoying, but if they don’t follow, I stop to see whats the trouble. The smiles , laughter, beautiful tears and sweet innocent faces is worth living. I wish I can lock them as kids and I can serve them as long as I live.  I wish I could just sit there and watch them play with their dad, fighting with each other, petting the toys, sleeping like little angels. What more do I need other than my two darlings of life?

What is Resume  or Curriculum vitae?

“It can be stated as a document showing all the professional experience one has in his domain, stating his positives , accomplishments and describing his talents and why he should be recruited for an organisation. ”

Initially everyone will have a very genuine resume with them. When you start looking out for job especially in US, the consultants ( or people who will fetch you a job and then loot you of all the money) , will have a look at your resumé. Immediately they will ask ” Will you be able to increase couple of years in your resumé , only then your resumé will be screened?” . Initially we will think a lot , then convincing ourselves that we are increasing only couple of years in our total years of experience and thats fine.

Next when this resumé is in the market, lot of people will call you check your ability and your knowledge in that particular area. The conversation may be similar to this:

Consultant ” Hi this is Sam, am I talking to Mr. Blah blah, How are you doing today?”

Mr. Blah Blah ” Yeah this is me and am doing good”.  Sam ” Hi sir we have a requirement for a developer who has experience in java, C, c++, SQL server, should have very good experience designing the applications, should have experience in testing and must provide user support after the product is implemented. How well do you think you are fit for this project?”

Mr Blah Blah thinks for a second, takes another second ” Sam, actually i think you have mistaken me, i’m a mechanical engineer and I dont have any relation with computers.”

Sam ” Thats fine sir, we are direct client for the company and we can fetch you $50/hr,  can you do me a favour of updating your resume with all the requirements and send to me ASAP. I also need two GENUINE REFERENCES stating that you have worked with them. If  you have any doubt feel free to contact me.”

Mr Blah Blah gets stunned, shocked, surprised and starts updating his resume ( Mostly from WIKI and from Google search). Thus a new computer software engineer is born in this world with great mechanical background.
