At the beach!

Beach , sea , Ocean many words to one splendid , magnificent gift of mother nature. I still remember the days in my childhood wishing to spend more time on the beach. Running towards the water, going farther and farther away from the shore as if to prove I’m great. The gentle breeze trying to calm me down taking me to one next level than a professional yoga teacher. I have spent beautiful days in the beach with almost all the best persons in my life. I still remember those days when myself and two of my friends would go and play in water for hours and hours together. The day would be still bright when we enter around 3 or 3.30. Who cares about the sun when we have good friends and water to play with. It would be fun, fun and fun. Nothing have ever stopped us from laughing , giggling and just hanging out there looking at the empty space and gigantic water body. There would be no one there at that part of the day and we would be there taking control of each second that passes as if we owned the beach for that day. Those beautiful days passed and I entered next level of life. The sound of the waves was so powerful that we stayed together.
My fiance took my hands and walked me through the sand as if I would tip over and fall down somewhere. I just held him tight so that he wont let me down anywhere. We enjoyed the waters together, playing, splashing, just the two of us forgetting the whole lot of crowd standing by us as if the whole world stood still to look at the beautiful innocent lovers playing in the waters. The sound of the waves was so romantic and the love deepened inside me. This phase of life moved on and I entered next.
I was there at the beach one day with my tummy like a big basket carrying my cute little baby inside. This time I was so cautious , could not play with the water. All of a sudden everything changed, I was so responsible and so caring for this little thing. As the water touched my feet every time , it felt good. It felt like a mothers love towards daughter. Just a gentle touch and a question ” Are you alright?”. It felt so good, but I could not enjoy more. The sound of the waves gave me the power of motherhood.
Now I have a baby. We went to beach with her and she loves water. She wants to play in sand, goes into water. She wants to move farther and farther away from the shore to prove she is great. Now I feel scared of the same beach. What of she tips over? What if she falls down? What if something happens? But still the sound of the beach is soothing and relaxing to me. I join her in the water and have fun for hours and hours.
Hospital Phobia…

Recently I had a sprain in my hand due to unknown reason. Since the pain was severe I went to hospital. The greatest mistake I did was going to the hospital. The more time I was there the more complicated the issue became.
Initially I met my doctor. She wanted me to take a Xray. At Xray center they tried to twist my hand in all possible positions for a clearer view. So I have to cooperate with intense pain in my wrist. After the Xray was taken I met my doctor again after two hours. Meanwhile the pain was at its maximum peak. Finally our doctor called us and she said your xray looks fine. I was happy that there were no fracture. But then started the major problem. She told us ” Your xray looks fine..we did not suspect any fracture.. but on looking your xray there is some extra particle near your thumb bone.. it may be an extra bone or your bone might have chipped off or it may be a solid or semisolid…”.. Myself and my husband were looking at each other in bewilderment.
Then she asked us meet a hand specialist. We could not stop laughing at the incidents happening. We went to hospital around 12.00 Pm and it was already 4.00Pm and we were wandering around the hospital, with the solution not yet derived. On the way we were discussing it could be an Astrologist who will be looking at my hand and predicting my future. I could not stop laughing imagining that.
Finally we met the hand specialist , she was an European. She asked the usual questions like ” What happened? how did this happen? When did this happen? ” and so many other questions. She told us you may have Gout , which will usually come to women in fifties. If you have gout then you will be famous , as you will be the first women having gout in early stage. I was all the more shocked hearing all these. Finally she put splint on my right hand and we rushed back home. If we spent even an hour extra the sprain would have turned into cancer. After coming home we were laughing for about an hour thinking of the things happened at the hospital.
Nothing is free..

Recently I have been on a trip to Grand canyon, Bryce canyon and Zion. I was amused to see the magnificent mountains and the beautiful stream. We cant stop praising the natural beauties standing high and welcoming you with pleasant breeze.The richness of the mountains can never be narrated in simple sentences. We never had any wish to come back , but we cannot escape from the work and in this economic situation, no chance!!!
On the way back as we approached a city, we stopped to get some water and food. I suddenly realised that nothing is free here in a city. I wandered my thoughts way back into the deep forest for a while. I realised our mother nature does not demand you money . You can sleep on her lap, drink the water from the stream, eat lot of fruits available. She is not going to give you any bill. Like a mother who does not demand anything from their child except for cleanliness and hygiene, mother nature expects us to do the same. But as her child we have crossed all the boarders and we have caused lot of trouble to the mother nature and her other children.
The earth would have been like that thousands of years ago. There would have been lot of forest and lot of water source. But as the technology developed mankind have slowly started eating the nature’s resource and have started building his giant buildings. So the land is no more free. The water resources are not sufficient to supply a whole lot of crowd, so the water is not free. We have to pay for them to drink. The other important aspect of life is food. Which is totally not and will never be free. So three important aspects of life is not at all free and they are at sometimes not affordable too.
The other most important utility of nature is air. Now we see that the technology is so very improved , that we have even teared the sky and go beyond, in search of other people out there and shake hands with them. We also see there is a multifold increase in the development of industries, transport systems and other facilities. So there may be one Thanks giving day, where we will be seeing lot of people standing in line for getting better deals on oxygen cylinders.
But on the other hand could not stop praising the technology improvement, without which anything is impossible. When we give a dough to a baby, we don’t expect him to have it the same way it was given. Instead when he makes some toys out of it , we will be happy and we give him more. Similarly God ( or who ever created us), should feel happy about the mankind, for exploring all the opportunities and changing the dough totally. Hope he does not get confused, if this was what i gave them!! But instead give more..
